Lure fishing

Lure fishing for salmon with rowing boats is the most common kind of fishing on the Muonio river. As the boat moves along the river the fisherman reaches all its numerous fishing spots and the fast flowing stream provides space to float lures. The basic techniques of fishing are easy to learn, but learning about the mental life of salmon needs decades of experience. Salmon fishing requires knowledge and skill, but luck is needed too.

Trolling

Come and try out lure fishing on Rostojärvi or Kilpisjärvi lakes or in the beautiful fell scenery of Pallas. We will find silver flanked Salmon and Trout as well as orange flanked Char, the king of Lapland’s fish. It is also easy for beginners, both men and women.
